  • Center for Women, Children and Families (drop-In)
    Christie’s Place offers Drop-In Support Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00am- 5:30pm. Tuesday 9:00am-7:00pm
  • Peer Advocacy/Family Case Worker
    Peer Navigators are women living with HIV who are trained to work in HIV health care and social service settings.
  • Childcare/Babysitting
    Childcare/Babysitting services are provided to clients who are attending meetings and/or support groups onsite, offsite and outstationed in the community. Learn More
  • Medical Case Management
    Services are provided to eligible WCF clients living with HIV/AIDS to improve access to, and appropriate utilization of, relevant HIV medical and supportive services in order to help clients realize improved health status, self-sufficiency and quality of life.
  • Mental Health Counseling
    Mental Health Services encompass an array of counseling and therapeutic services provided by  California licensed mental health professionals and appropriately registered and supervised interns. 

Expanded HIV Testing in Healthcare Settings (EHTH) provides routine confidential HIV screening in clinic as well as linkage to care services, Partner Services, and prevention services for individuals testing positive for HIV.

CHANGE for Women

In 2010, Christie’s Place started the Coordinated HIV Assistance and Navigation for Growth and Empowerment (CHANGE) for Women program (C4W).

Strengthening the Health and Resilience of Women, Children and Families Impacted HIV/AIDS

 

Christie’s Place clients have access to a substantial range of services provided by expert staff and a network of collaborative partners who are dedicated to strengthening the health and resilience of women and children affected by HIV. These services include an early intervention services center with resource coordination and referral services; medical case management; mental health services; bilingual childcare; patient navigation; outreach; and basic needs assistance. With a staff under 20 as well as significant volunteer support we receive more than 22,500 visits annually and serve over 1,200 clients.

Christie’s Place provides comprehensive social services in a caring, safe and welcoming home-like environment.  Our family-centered services are free of charge, countywide, culturally and linguistically appropriate.  Clients and affected family members may visit on a daily basis for information, support and to access services all in one stop.
